I like the new colorways for the limited edition Tilt hoodies on Kidrobot. The Tilt
Monogram design was designed by French graffiti artist, Tilt. Each one has the number
and edition embroidered on the inside. They have interior ipod pockets with a cord loop and button hole for
your headphones, expanding rib from hem to shoulder seam and heavy duty
zippers. What else could you possibly need in a hoodie.
I'm loving the Mociun Fall 2006 line. I have no idea where I can find it, but the collection looks amazing! I'll keep an eye out for it.
Found on Mochipopstar SH Page
I got Mochi the cutest vintage hoodie today for his bday. Its from GRN Apple Tree clothing. they have some cute hoodies and a cool site, usability is not that great, but could be my failing Time Warner wireless connection.
Stylehive is a social shopping community site where members, or "hivers", can share their finds in the latest trends, designers, styles and everything hot right now. As a "hiver" you can post your own bookmarked items on the web to your "hive", as well as copying other posted bookmarks to your hive. The product is a collection of items that you dig (no, not digg...but something similar.)
There's a point system in place where you your items earn points when other people copy them to their hives. Its a very cool site that can be used for "window shopping" or to mark items to a wishlist so that you friends and family know what you are interested in (Christmas is coming, after all!) Its easy to find cool new designers and unique products becuase there are a lot of people posting that have great style.
Other cool features:
Follows: you can follow ppl to keep them in your network
Magazines: you can create your own magazines of the products that you like
Check out my Stylehive bookmarks here.
Check out these sweet slip ons with one of many awesome Japanese screen prints. How could you go for the checkerboard when these are out on the market! Waraku is on Abbot Kinney in Venice, here's what they say about themselves:
"Shopping at WARAKU is like entering a den of t the sneaker fetish influenced with today’s TOKYO culture, and digging up a hidden treasure. There are some unique - one of a kind- sneakers and many limited editions from NIKE, ASICS-ONITSUKA, PUMA, ADIDAS etc. along with Japanese brands like PATRICK and NAMITATSU which hard to hit in the United States. Also be sure to check out the clothing/accessory selection from kitsch lovers’ knick-knacks to asymmetrical reversible jackets by Japanese creative young designers exclusively imported from Japan."
I can't believe I have never been here - but I'll be checking it out on my lunch break next week.
French label Veja
makes some sweet and simple unisex kicks. Veja launched in Paris
and Tokyo in March 2005. The company makes fair trade sneakers. "Made from
materials like organic cotton and latex from a heavea tree forest,
there's no shame in rocking these shoes produced from a Brazilian
cooperative. According to Veja the fair trade premium paid to the
producers aims at financing concrete development projects in health,
education or environmentfields."
Check out Veja's signature shoe "the Volley" which is a tribute to 70s Brazil. Available in 45 different color schemes.

Mochi finally just got his new limited edition Tim Biskup slip ons that he pre-ordered 7 or 8 months ago. they are so sweet. I just walked out into the living room, saw them sitting there and now I have to write about them becuase they are that cool.
I think my husband has better shoes than I will ever have!
I found this site through Miss Malaprop's blog that my Mochi turned me to to.
Unsung Designers is an online boutique featuring work from emerging designers. you might recognize Kara Janx's name in the designer list from last season's Project Runway. I think my favorite part of this site is the "One-of-a-Kind" section. It would be so nice knowing that what every you just bought is your and yours only!
I love this Vintage Heart/Yolk necklace from byjeannie jewelry. And this Spirit Animal tee shirt tee design from Bonnie Heart Clyde.
How I love my weekly Splendora forecasts, let me count the ways...
The Splendora style forecast is a weekly newsletter sent on Fridays capping off the week with the latest styles in fashion, music, television, accessories, what to wear, what NOT to wear..all the good stuff. They cover LA, NY and SF and the emails are targeted to your location. Each comment has a link to the product or person that they reference. Its the highlight of my Friday afternoon, that pulls me away from my work and gets my to drift off into Splendora land for a few minutes.
The "what to wear" of the week is this tuxedo dress from Free People. It reminds me of something that Allison from Project Runway would wear. The "what not to wear", "Team" anything paraphenalia.
Last weekend I was bummed becuase the Shari Wacks sample sale just did not fit into the busy schedule.
I actually found Shari Wacks Jewelry when I was hunting down the necklace that J.Lo wore in all the Monster-In-Law ads. Yes, I admit to hunting down J. Lo's accesssories. I ended up ordering the necklace, and I still love it and wear it all the time.
Shari Wacks works in gold and semiprecious stones. Shari’s signature style is the layered look where individual necklaces are combined to create a "unique and personalized style to deliciously decorate any décolletage." She even has as "How To Layer" page on her site. Check it out.
