I am loving the Spring 2007 line from Myth and Ritual. I love the chic vintage look with great texture and color combinations. I am dying to find that violet ruffle dress!
Who is behind Myth & Ritual?
Trained at Parsons with internships at Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, and
Nicole Miller, Amy Schimel was previously the design assistant at Chaiken. She realized there was a need for clothing
that was of designer quality while still being fun and comfortable. Myth and Ritual was born, starting with knits and
slowly evolving into cutting styles and wovens.
Available at SF's Candystore, makes me want to be back in the Bay!
Stylehive is a social shopping community site where members, or "hivers", can share their finds in the latest trends, designers, styles and everything hot right now. As a "hiver" you can post your own bookmarked items on the web to your "hive", as well as copying other posted bookmarks to your hive. The product is a collection of items that you dig (no, not digg...but something similar.)
There's a point system in place where you your items earn points when other people copy them to their hives. Its a very cool site that can be used for "window shopping" or to mark items to a wishlist so that you friends and family know what you are interested in (Christmas is coming, after all!) Its easy to find cool new designers and unique products becuase there are a lot of people posting that have great style.
Other cool features:
Follows: you can follow ppl to keep them in your network
Magazines: you can create your own magazines of the products that you like
Check out my Stylehive bookmarks here.

Cookie and the Dude is a designers name that caught my eye on the exhibitors list. What a cute name. They make some great headbands from vintage and reproduction fabrics. Cookie and the Dude is based in SF and can be found at many of the local boutiques.
